Maintaining organized areas and schedules + keeping track of responsibilities and deadlines = orderliness

When the “to do list” is daunting, being orderly allows you to do what needs to be done.  Your productivity will increase when you keep track of your tasks and goals.  Being orderly helps you stay in control of your life and allows you the time and energy for big life goals.

Orderliness may not be at the top of your list of requirements for leadership; however, orderliness is the difference between being effective and ineffective with your time and efforts.

“Order is the sanity of the mind, the health of the body, the peace of the city, the security of the state.  Like beams in a house or bones to a body, so is order to all things.”  – Robert Southey
