Want to be a Leader? Decide to be Teachable

In my forty plus years of leadership, I have learned to choose potential leaders based on their teachability. People who are teachable have already cleared many hurdles on their leadership journey. Potential leaders need to possess certain traits that qualify them for the job, but unteachable people are disqualified right at the get-go. It is a mindset that people possess. People are either looking for ways to learn and grow, or they believe they know it all. People who are passionate and teachable are likely to grow and succeed, so choose to be teachable. -Paul Weaver
