People without focus are easily distracted and they are often disorganized and forgetful. They may appear confused, flustered, and uncertain.

Being unfocused and disorganized can destroy our confidence as we will miss opportunities and lack the skills to effectively problem solve or make clear and informed decisions.

Enemies of Focus:

  • OVERTHINKING – Most issues are not as big as our minds make them! We can destroy our focus by overthinking a manageable situation.
  • DIVIDED ATTENTION – Our attention is often divided by multiple responsibilities, conflicting desires, and an endless list of choices.
  • MEDDLING – When we make ourselves unnecessarily busy with other people’s matters, we will be unable to focus on our own responsibilities and opportunities.

Focus is the power to do great things with the available resources.
