People without passion are considered uninspiring and apathetic. They are often nonchalant and uncommitted. Their casual approach weakens their resolve, and it is easy for them to avoid participating.
A person will never be able to lead or inspire others without personal passion.
A lack of passion deflates your circle of influence, closes doors, eliminates new opportunities, and leads to discontentment.
Enemies of Passion:
- COMPARISON – There is a fine line between learning from others, being inspired by others, and hindering your own initiative by thinking your efforts will never match up.
- DRUDGERY – Habitual repetition with no room for creativity or improvement will result in a lack of passion and enthusiasm.
- CYNICISM – A paranoid and suspicious view of others causes one to look for saboteurs and enemies.
