When I consider the power of Lodestar Guidance, I come to this: good character and good leadership are synonymous in the success of any organization or family.
At Weaver Leather, we have believed this truth and taught these character principles for over 25 years. The benefits of having trained character warriors are difficult to define in terms of hard dollars earned. However, the fact that we are leaders in the industries we serve is reason enough to continue investing in the Lodestar Guidance program.
When we treat each other better, we treat our customers better, and we are positioned to produce top quality products daily. That’s the reason we do what we do. The alternative is to make rules and regulations and then police the staff to make sure no one steps out of line. We have found that educating people is much more effective than it is to punish people. So teach and reward great character!
