Honest people are known for truthfulness, morality, candor, and fairness. They are reliable, trustworthy, and genuine, and they avoid giving false impressions.

Being truthful with others + living an authentic life = honesty

Honesty requires:

• SELF-APPRAISAL – Honesty begins with telling ourselves the truth.
• SELF-CONTROL – We do not need to be involved in every conversation.
• SELF-RESPECT – Honest people have self-respect and care more about being true to themselves than what others think about them.
